August 2008 Spotlight - Highlights both the JVS Cookout and the JVS Staff Picnic plus news about a staff addition and a staff promotion.

 

July 2008 Spotlight - Highlights a consumer's return to programming, this year's "Accessibility for All" Fair, summer calendar updates and general information about current happenings at Jewish Vocational Service.

June 2008 Spotlight - Highlights open with our Short Term Summer Friends and a special ode to their visit and continue with Happenings at the Blue Ash YMCA, Several Special Summer Events happening this year and a congratulations to our graduating interns.

May 2008 Spotlight - Highlights Wheels for Wishes 2008, the Autism Walk at the Cincinnati Zoo, and the 2008 NAMI Walk; all important community events that included the participation of JVS staff.  This edition also includes an article about New Mobile Crew Options offered by Jewish Vocational Service.

April 2008 Spotlight - Highlights Jewish Vocational Service programming at area YMCAs, Clarke's Remarks, May holidays, and new staff.

March 2008 Spotlight - Highlights both the Hamilton County Board of MR/DD Annual Awards Banquet and the Butler County Board of MR/DD 14th Annual Community Recognition Dinner. There are also updates on JVS staff.

February 2008 Spotlight - Highlights Therapeutic Social Recreation programming offered by JVS, new staff and the recent annual staff recognition and awards program.

January 2008 Spotlight - Highlights a holiday concert performed by one of Sycamore High School's choirs, Clarke's Remarks, a Remembrance, some recent JVS staff changes, and upcoming holidays.

December 2007 Spotlight - Highlights the retirement and departure of two long time staff members, consumer holiday fun in 2007 and three special holiday related closures in January.

November 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include notice of the upcoming Open House honoring Lois Scott and her 24 years of service as she retires, the Supportive Home Service program at JVS, Clarke's Remarks, New Staff Updates, and the December Calendar.

September/October 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include JVS and the Blue Ash YMCA, Autism Expo 2, Clarke's Remarks, Staff Updates, the 2007 Ice Cream Social and Upcoming Holidays and JVS Planned Closures.

August 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include an important update to the JVS Calendar Related to September Jewish Holidays and Related Closures, the Annual JVS Picnic, Hamilton County Board of MR/DD at the county fair, an Adult Day Service Luau, and Don Musnuff's Retirement.

July 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include the new Day Habilitation program at the M. E. Lyons YMCA in Anderson Township, Hamilton County MR/DD receipt of the Next Chapter Book Clubs Award, Hamilton County Board's Cafe Conversation held at JVS, this month's Clarke's Remarks, and miscellaneous staff announcements and calendar items.

June 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include Four years of Therapeutic and Social Recreation, this year's annual JVS Summer Youth Program, JVS consumers who participated in Special Olympics and the June edition of Clarke's Remarks.

May 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include JVS Providing Expanded Services in Butler County, Second Annual Cara Wheels 4 Wishes, JVS J-Walkers Participate in the NAMI Walk 2007, new staff and important May calendar announcements.

April 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include six months of Day Hab at the YMCA, our upcoming Summer program for teens, the second edition of 'Clarke's Remarks', the 2nd annual Wheels for Wishes, and tips on working with people.

March 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include announcement of Adult Day Service winning Thomas H. Kidd Award for Excellence, the introduction of our new monthly self-advocacy column and other JVS tidbits.

February 2007 Spotlight - Highlights include partners in policymaking, tips on working with people, clarification of the JVS snow/inclement weather policy some  congratulations and condolences.

January 2007 Spotlight

November 2006 Spotlight - Highlights participation and support of CARA, Community Ambassadors Resource Alliance and the Northgate Transition Fair. It also announces recent staff changes and the remaining 2006 Holiday Schedule.

October 2006 Spotlight - Highlights our new Effective Activities and Work Adjustment Curriculum, our recent Ice Cream Social, the 2006 Autism Expo, Staying Healthy and Fit, and a nice surprise from Red Lobster. We also pay tribute to the memory of our colleague and friend Linda Levy.

September 2006 Spotlight - Highlights a consumer success story, a story of friendship written by one of our consumers, new staff at JVS, and other important announcements.

August 2006 Spotlight - Highlights  the New JVS Day Habilitation Program 'Work 'n Play at YMCA,' JVS consumer picnic, Hamilton County Fair, Summer-Bration and recent staff changes at JVS.

June 2006 Spotlight - Highlights  the JVS Supportive Home Service, participation in both the Fairfax School Provider Fair and with the Strike a Pose program, three new JVS employees and one exceptional ADS volunteer.
